WHY IS BACK TO BASICS TRULY DIFFERENT?
Created by a team of Canadians Back to Basics is a system based on evidence, hormones, and mindset. Using a 35 day system and working with your own personal nutrition coach you are able to allow your hormones to naturally reset, and operate the way they should. This isn’t about manipulating your system for results. This program is about letting your system heal, so you are able to truly see how different foods affect you, and how to apply all the information to your life.
WHY ONE-ON-ONE COACHING?
Simply put, we are all different and although using a system as a base to start is fantastic, our lives, minds, and systems all need different support. Think about learning how to play hockey: we all learn the basics, skating, etc., but a coach is there to help us identify triggers, build awareness, and provide the support we need as individuals.
OUR MINDS ARE POWERFUL, AND IT’S A KEY COMPONENT OF A REAL LIFE STYLE.
After four years of doing this, we have been able to affirm the one thing we knew. Our minds are one of the biggest players in creating a healthy lifestyle. You will never hear us use words like cheat days, or falling off the wagon. We do not motivate out of hate and we do not count on will power here. We are here to give you support, education, and tools so you are able to make choices with confidence. There is no shame in having a piece of cake with your kid for their birthday.

Using a weekly video, Dr. Dean helps you set goals, understand your brain, and gives you tactical pieces of advice you can apply.
