About Temple Nutrition
Derek and Milena started on their journey together five years ago. Milena loves to cook, and has been in the kitchen since she was a little girl. Her Avó (Grandma in Portuguese) taught her everything she knows - and they even use some of her recipes on the menu!
Where the Food Comes From
The meals are fresh and healthy and they make everything from scratch. There are no additives, preservatives, artificial sweeteners or colours in any of the food. They locally source and hand select all of their premium ingredients. Derek goes to the Ontario Food Board Terminal twice a week to purchase all of the fruits and veggies to ensure quality freshness and has built strong relationships with local farmers and suppliers! How it’s Packaged and Delivered
They pride themselves on premium quality ingredients and freshness of the meals. Nothing is frozen, all of the meals come in an insulated box, with biodegradable gel packs. Clients are encouraged to join their recycling program where they collect, clean and reuse all of our boxes, insulation, gel packs and bottles - they simply leave their previous week’s boxes on their doorstep and we collect them during their next delivery!
How they Give Back
They value community and believe it’s important to support local and try to give back when they can. They donate all of their compost to local micro sanctuaries and farms to help feed their rescued animals.
